Need some Advice
Ok, as we speak, my engine is out of my car and going to be shipped off for a rebuild and a mild street port.
And the turbos are being modified to run in parallel.
Now obviously the stock ECU cant handle this and im going to go with a PFC. BUT im on a very limited budget, and thus, im pretty stuck for parts.
Thus, once the engine is back, and reinstalled, im hoping for tuning.
HOWEVER, as i mentioned, im on a pretty tight budget, so the IC is still stock as well the cat and exhaust, there is a downpipe on the system tho. So, my question is, what should i do? should i just run a safe map with the stock system or should just do a rebuild and run the turbos parallel at low boost?
Im pretty stuck here, not entirely sure what my course of action should be... any suggestions?
(its 1 am, forgive my crazyness xD)

your factory computer will be able to handle it however you have to use resistors where there would normally be solenoids for various sequential operations. the factory computer attempts to make boost to about 10psi but if you follow the sequential conversion you should be running at approx 7psi manually controlled meaning the factory intercooler is also adequate as well. theres a few things you can do to raise boost from this 7psi including shimming the wastegate or re-installing the wastgate solenoids and pill restrictors.

A mild streetport should be absolutely fine on the stock ecu. I have used Kevin's template which is close to what most shops consider there "large" port on the stock ecu with little to no side effects. I would be interested to see how one would act with all the emissions still in tact. Pretty much every car I put back together is non-seq with emissions deleted for simplicity. I highly doubt you will notice any difference with a mild streetport.
