Need as much info on the acv as possible
How to remove ACV (any and all info on the ACV)
Ok so ive been playing with the charge control valve without any luck.I just keep thinking about the acv and how everytime I remove it and then put everything back toghether the car ran great without any problems for a little while.Nothing else gets these results so it must be something to do with the acv.One guy even said that he had similar problems to my own when he messed with the acv.
My problem as im sure most know is that after transition at 4500 rpms I get little to no boost. If I go wide open throttle the max I see is about 3 to 4 psi.
Also if anyone has any experience on how to remove this system and if there were any negative effects of removing this sytem.Id really appreciate some info if you know how to get rid of the acv.Thank you all for the input in the past and hopefully in the future as well.

Dead serious. The page with the most information about anything to do with RX7s is: https://www.rx7club.com/search.php
These aren't new cars, 99% of the time somebody already has a similar setup to you and similar problem so why reinvent the wheel.
Even if all of the information doesn't apply to your current problem you're still learning stuff about the car that may help you troubleshoot and isolate something in the future.
Starting a new thread each time you have a problem is like somebody who doesn't understand math posting 'What is 1+6?' since that is all they need to know today. Next week they come back and ask 'What is 3+4?'...if they spent some time they could learn math and solve the problems on their own.

I agree. Most of the time others have experienced the same thing. But every once in a while you get something that no one else has experienced. In any casy I already know to use the search function. But If I cant seem to find exactly what im searching for then I start a thread.

When you say you have messed with the acv, what do you mean? Do you have the diaphram in right (flat side out, "cone" side in)? There are several sensors on the acv. Did you lose any parts/springs? How far did you disassemble it?
It seems very unlikely that messing with the ACV (an emissions control device) would have any direct effect on boost. I could see that if you swapped or cut some hoses getting to the ACV that it might cause problems, but I don't think additional information about the ACV itself will be of any use to you.
