TX Need help! no power above 4k rpms

*I've been having issues with my fd above 4k rpms.

The turbo's spool up fine and kick in like normal (full non-seq) until 4kish rpms and then the car just falls on its face and feels like it has no power, while the boost gauge will be reading full boost (12psi) and holds it until redline. It also seems to be making random popping sounds, no smoke that i can tell though while driving.

I just had the injectors cleaned and flow-tested and replaced my fuel filter and the spark plugs seem fine, so now i am stumped. Any info would be appreciated, my modifications are in my sig.

thanks
-Richard

ive had a similar symptoms in my car before;

first time it was a ground from the firewall to the back of the intake manifold...

second time i would make full boost all the time but it would not go anywhere because my secondary throttle plattes (or whatever theyre called) were not opening all the way because of a damn vacuum line!

hope everything works out for you

I also have my double throttle removed, but I will check my grounds. Any other suggestions?

Sounds like limp mode?

Try reseting your ECU.
