need help with my fd

i have recently traveled to SC to see family and trailered my RX with me(to avoid withdrawels) ...since I got here my car has started running like crap...was running fine before i left Ma...its running like it has a huge cam in it(I know one of those useless parts) I've replaced the spark plugs,1 solenoid, tried new gas, adjusting the TPS,cleaning the AIC valve, and intake gasket...the list of mods are
3" dp,HKS cat back,APEXI power intake,Blitz injectors, all the hard pipes under the hood,Greddy profect B boost controller, new TPS,underdrive pulleys,Walboro fuel pump(255 lph),new motor from mazda, turbos from Pettit, and ALL the vacuum lines....can someone help so I can enjoy my car for the rest of my vacation...

thanks in advance

Well, "running like crap" is a pretty non-specific description, so it is hard to say from that. You got better with your "second" post about "wants to die out" when stopped. I presume what you are saying is that it does not catch and idle normally before the rpms drop too low. You may have any number of problems, but if it was running fine before being trailered to SC then it must be related to being trailered there. Is it possible that the fuel filter has become clogged to a degree? I do not know why trailering would cause crud to get stirred up more than just driving the car around, but maybe trailering caused something to get stirred-up that is now restricting fuel flow.

The fuel pulsation dampner usually just leaks when It goes bad. I have not seen one fail in such a way that would change ther way the car would run. What kind of vacuum readings are you seeing at idle? Is the vacuum steady or does it bounce? Any smoke?

I wonder if the humidity in SC might be a contributing factor as it decreases the amount of 02 getting into the mix at idle? Does it seem like you are running rich at idle? Could also check the idle air control valve connection and all of your sensor connections (TPS).

If air doesn't seem to be an issue then I'm with the other guys on checking your fuel pressure etc.

If you lost that much vacuum I suspect you hurt the motor. Pull the plugs and do a compression test.

I somehow missed that post, but I think there would be a noticeable loss of power at cruising speeds if that were the case. I suppose he could have leaned out if he tried to pull the car onto or off of a trailer at a serious incline angle with a nearly empty tank....

A compression would be a good start

no it has plenty of power while cruising around....off idle to redline....just a real choppy idle...it idles like a small block chevy with to big of a cam ....you can hear all 6 sides of the rotor when its idleing ......once i put my foot on the pedal it smooths right out...theres only 36k on the motor and its adult owned ...i drive it 40 miles per day to and from work...it rareley sees anything above 8 psi of boost and i never let it get below 1/4 tank of gas....always use the minimium of 93 octane...it would be idleing great if it had a carb on it....im thinking it has a bad solenoid that i missed since i've been thinking about it...maybe ill drop it at KD Rotary on my way home

Check for a vacuum leak.

i tried to do the carb spray thing....nothing found...can i do a vacuum pump test without the car running(so i can hear) or does it have to be running so the solenoids are functioning

so i got home thursday and messed with my car saturday....i found 2 bad solenoids,3 vacuum lines that popped off and a bad intake gasket.fixedall those problems and did a comperssion check.found that my boost guage is wrong,i hooked up another boost guage and found that the car is boosting fine now..12-8-13,but the idle is still rough(spark related?)any info on the igniter box ? thats behind the cruise control unit next to the master cylinder isn't it?

thanks for all your help
