Thanks for your help
The secondary air line runs alongside the downpipe and transmission and connects to the ACV (which is between the turbos and UIM)

sorry I'm lost anyone have actual pics or links to actual pics? All I see under my car is the flange on the cat which is capped off. I think I am completely missing the ACV or it fell of or seller removed it and never gave it to me is it bad to run without this. pics of the acv and where it attaches to another solid objects would be appreciated. most sites I check talk about it or have simple drawings since I never seen it I don't exactly know what I should buy or connect it too. forgive my Ignorance
Go to http://www.iluvmyrx7.com/3rd_gen_manuals.htm and download the 93 Factory Service Manual and 93 Parts Fiche.
In the FSM you will see the secondary air pump (ACV: the air control valve) on page F-115. The pipe is shown on F-128.
The parts list shows these items on 1-E5 (group 1371), and 2-D6 (group 4000).
Also look to see if you have an air pump. Generally, removing the air pump is the motivation for capping the line going to the cat.
The good news is these parts are pretty cheap in the for sale section. DO NOT buy them from the dealer.

thanks guys I have the ACV, scotty picture really helped. thank you too geese. I guess what I missing is the piece that connects to it I believe its called the check valve (split) looks sor of like a bell. bottom page f-120 exactly where does that hook up the guide shows only an end nozzle which could be any nozzle sorry if I'm annoying really lost. and I do own the shop manual.
The bottom of F-120 shows the upper half of the secondary air line. The lower half lies horizontally along the bottom of the car. The upper half is a short section of rubber hose attached to a metal tube that slopes diagonally upward to the back of the ACV, sort of parallel to the downpipe. It should be pretty easy to see the connection on the back of the ACV: it's a 2x10mm nut flanged connection with about 1/2" hole in between. I assume the previous owner has a blockoff plate installed there.

Every now and then, jimlab will pop out of the woodwork and prove that he's got a very in-depth knowledge of these cars. I find it very interesting, coming from someone who ripped out his rotary many years ago.
