need help fitting sleek headlights, pics inside!
All,
Have started to fit my sleek headlights today, i have a couple of questions. Yes, before you ask - they did come from Ebay.
First off, i have been given some brackets to mount the actual lamps to the light housing. 8 of each type:
Type 1:
Type 2:
These brackets fit on the lights in a variety of ways, the only way i can possibly see of getting these to mount is like below - but obviously, this is not ideal...
Its hard to see what ive done here, but basically - the bottoms of the "type 1" bracket screw into the bottom of the light housing no problem - but the tops of these brackets are way forward and have nothing to screw to, so ive mounted a type 2 bracket on there and this is able to screw to the hood of the light assembly.
Also, what do i need to cut out from here? Whats safe to cut and how far back? as it looks pretty structural...
If anyone has fitted these lights (or similar) if you could shed some light that would be great. If nobody has any ideas, i guess ill just go out and get some aluminium and custom make some brackets.....
Thanks guys.

i nearly brought the same lights, but ended up getting the twin halos instead, not as sleek as the ones you purchased, but definitely easier to install...
please keep me imformed on how it turns out...
