Does the intensity, frequency and loudness follow the rev-curve?

Is it the same during idle, in gear but clutch in?

I'm pretty sure when I push in the clutch pedal the noise goes away

I don't hear it well driving only well I'm stopped and in neutral and after driving for a bit

It sounds like it could be coming more from the transmission but I can't pin point the exact location

Also it doesn't do it all the time.

My friend said his is doing close to the same thing and he thinks it's a clutch barring on his. Were gonna get together tonight and compare clunks lol

clonking like this should leave some sort of leftovers if its in the gearbox/bellhousing/clutcharea... if you can, lift car and open inspectioncovers on the transmission(two covers that sits on the bellhousing), and check to see if theres any metal spoons there... or, to see if anything rubs, or if the sound intensifies. Start the car on the lift and open covers.
