Is this is on the driver's side of the block, beneath the oil filter pedestal and going into the rear iron? If so, you can just remove the plastic piece and use a couple of good quality worm-gear clamps on the hose.
EDIT: It's what I thought. Yes, you can remove it. Either use a couple of small screw drivers to insert into the sides to pinch the tabs. As you do, pull to release. Or just grab a set of channel locks and twist to break it off.

It is a quick disconnect. You can buy replacements but I just broke mine off and double clamped the hose directly. There are posts though that give an alternative part, I think it is a Ford piece that you can buy at any parts store. The plastic piece is prone to crack though and I have had zero problems since removing it.

Might as well also check the tiny little 90* hose under the throttle body. Those split open over time as well.
Ray at Malloy Mazda can get you the parts at a discounted price. His number is in the FAQ thread.
Since you're going to have to drain the cooling system, you might as well check and replace other coolant hoses as well. Check the 2 tiny ones that go to the turbos. Use new OEM clamps as well. They have the correct torque to properly clamp the hose w/o chewing up the rubber like the worm type hose clamps do. My experience with this car's coolant system is that when one issue starts with a hose or other components, it can be a warning sign that other parts are worn and need attention/replacement. Might as well find out in you driveway vs hundreds of miles from home in the middle of the night.
Good luck.
