Need help with clutch/flywheel

I currently have a ACT ProLite XACT flywheel uninstalled on my car and i'm trying to figure out which ACT clutch to match with it. I got this part from the previous owner but he never got a clutch for it. Basically, i didn't see the point in installing this part without a component clutch.

The part number if it matters is PN#600140.

The options for clutches that i have are;
1.ACT Street/Strip Clutch
2.ACT 4 Puck Clutch
3.ACT 6 Puck Clutch
4.ACT Extreme Clutch
5.ACT Extreme 6 Puck Clutch
6.ACT 6 Puck Sprung Hub Clutch

I plan on using the car for the track and have some other parts going on the car as well, but i would like to install these together as well. Thanks for any input!!

Really depends on the power level you put down. Unless you're running a single turbo and some high boost you won't need a 4 or 6 puck.

what do you guys think of a sprung 6-puck disc with stock pressure plate? i'm pushing about 320 whp / 250 wtq and I want better bite than stock but not a heavier pedal feel

That's what i was looking for. I'm not going to be pushing any big numbers yet, and will be using the stock twins. Guess i'll get the Street/Strip clutch.

Thanks!

The pressure plate is the problem when pushing some higher than stock power numbers, not necessarily the clutch disc itself. The ACT S/S setup is basically an OEM clutch with a stronger PP.

don't get the extreme PP...it will be rough on the clutch fork, and hydraulics

yeah but the way I see it, stock pressure plate with 6-puck will have more holding force due to the smaller contact area compared to a full face disk, right? or am I thinking it wrong?

I have never seen a problem with using the extreme pressure plate. I ran one for 5 years with different disks. The puck-type disks suck on the street, even if sprung. The also chew up your flywheel. Unless you have a single turbo pushing 420+ to the wheels or strictly drag race the car there is no reason for a puck clutch. The stock pressure plate will not hold up to much power. The ACT heavy duty clutches actually used a stock disk with a stronger pressure plate.

If the pressure plate can't provide enough pressure for the clutch and the torque of the car, then the type of clutch isn't going to matter.
