Need help.. Clogged cat

My ****** stock cat is clogged. I dont have an ecu so I doubt i could get a midpipe and run it normally. I would be interested in getting one and welding in a muffler and a cat. Any problems with that ? As long as the muffler is infront the cat should be OK with the heat....

Or the highflow cat ? What the negative?

I just want some ****** rpms

Well I had a clogged CAT as well and I got a Borla midsection from PFS and it worked great, and there is no need for the air pump anymore. I would spend the extra cash and do it right.

Why do it half-assed when you can do it ***-hole

Want to race,

What where the symptoms of your clogged cat? How could you tell it was clogged? I am trying to figure out why my car is running really rich and people have mentioned this as a possibility. Thanks

If you cant rev the car past 4K you might have a deeper issue then a clogged CAT. It sounds pretty serious

I was wondering because I am having problems with my car running very rich. I am pretty sure that my precat is clogged because my boost drops pretty fast on the second turbo. I don't think that is why it is running rich.
I think you might have a more serious problem. I am no expert but it sounds like you car is going into limp mod. It does this when it thinks something is really wrong, like the oil metering pump goes out. Did you get any error codes? I am sure if your main cat is clogged bad enough it could restict it from reving, but you would think it could push something out. Let us know what happens.
