If its a new build you may need to pull start or use a jumer battery to get the rpms up.

Is the starter ok, if not then?

Is the shop's FD setup the same as yours, same turbo, injectors, AC, mods? My friend's FD was running like crap, the shop set the wrong settings on the PFC. We corrected it this weekend, they had the injectors at 100% duty cycle, idle rpm set without compensating for AC in on condition, etc.

Also, maybe you got bad gas?

I THINK I DO HAVE BAD GAS THE CAR WAS SITTING FOR 5 YEARS WITH THE SAME GAS ALSO I DO THINK THAT THE POWER FC WHEN I GO TO SETTING THE INJECTORS ARE AT 100 I TOLD THE SHOP THAT AND THEY SAID IT WAS FINE ,THEY SAID THEY WILL CHANGE IT WHEN I DYNO TUNED IT

BUT EVEN AT 100% THE CAR SHOULD OF TURN ON B/C THEY PUT THE PFC ON A CAR THAT HAD THE VERY SIMILAR SET UP AND IT TURN ON

Im pretty sure you should never have the injector duty cycle past 85% just to let you know.

Holy crap, if you have 5 year old gas you need to drain the tank and refill it.

Definitely. You'll be able to tell if you take the cap off of the gas tank and smell it, it'll give off kind of a "sour" smell. If you pour some out, it'll be a darker color than normal also.

Edit- Also, does it at least try to turn over, or does it just not start at all?

Try draining the tank and refilling, or if you can't do that, at least add in as much 93 octane as you can. That should tell you if it's just the gas. Also, do you know if the fuel pump is turning on when you turn the key? When you first turn the key to the On position, you should hear a slight hum in the back.

Well if you have fuel and you have spark, I don't understand why it doesn't start. Have you tried cranking it a lot from the time you first checked the plugs? If not, you may have fouled out the plugs with all of the attempted starting. Other than trying to push start it, I don't know what to tell you.

I had somewhat similar problem and it was my fuel lines, they weren't throwing fuel at all when I took a closer look...they were crossed so the were throwing gas right back into the tank

Let us know if that helps. If it doesn't, be sure that fuel is actually making it to the injectors.

5 year old fuel would have trouble starting a grass fire, it will turn to varnish! I would put in a new filter and check the fuel pump sock in the tank.

I wouldn't do it to my engine, but you can try giving it a small shot of starting fluid to see if it lights. If it fires, then it's a fuel issue. But you might have fouled your injectors with 5 year old fuel.

I would wonder about any shop that starts a fresh rotary engine with 5 year old gas. If it were my car, I'd pull the fuel line and run the pump until the tank was dry. Then fill it with 5 gal of fresh gas.

Did you empty the tank and then refill? If not, you're just flooding the engine every time you try to start it with that old gas.
