Unhappy Need help adjusting M.B.C.

I just replaced my turbos with some 99 spec ones with ~30k miles. The guy I bought the car from had installed a manual boost controller similar to the one on the Scuderiaciriani website. Since the turbos were replaced I've only had 7 psi of boost at WOT and it then drops to ~4 psi at 4-5k rpms. He installed a valve in both the wastegate actuator line and the turbo line(the other one). I just want to know how I should set both of these up to get back to stock 10-8-10 boost pattern. Sorry if this was previously discussed but i couldnt find anything from searching or websites on how the boost is supposed to be adjusted properly. TIA

Was the vacuum hose setup changed at all in the installation? (i.e. are the hoses still going thru the precontrol and wastegate solenoids?)

No, they put it all back just as i had it except the boost controllers were turned at some point so now i dont fully understand how to adjust it to get 10 psi, or which line should have nothing in it and which line is supposed to have the MBC, or if they both should (as mine is). Any help is appreciated.

Remove the prespool controller, and replace it with a stock OEM Mazda line WITH THE RESTRICTOR PILL IN IT. Now you will have only one controller to adjust. Close that controller completely, and then open it 4 full turns. Drive the car, and test your boost. Adjust the controller in 1/2 turn increments (then drive and test) until it changes. Then adjust in smaller increments to fine tune it.

Thanks for all the help guys, but one last question. I have 99 spec twins (non-abreadable seals if that matters), do these have the pills built in? If they are then i just run a straight hose in place of the prespool controller, and take the pill out of the primary?

Well the pills are in the stock lines themselves. Most people when they get new turbos just get the turbos w/o any lines and either hook them up to their old lines or install new ones.

If you want a picture of which lines to feel around for to check for the pills I can prolly find one for you. And if the pills are present then your answer is yes I believe.
