Question need fitment help with elec. oil pressure gauge

i am in the process of installing a set of AM carbon fiber guages, and have a couple of questions regarding the install....

1. Oil pressure guage. I was wondering about the location of the stock sending unit. i think that it is on the firewall just behind the filter, right? if so, can i run the new sending unit from the autometer guage paralell, or in conjunction with the stock one? i have a /4" NPT 't' fitting so that it would be possible, and was simply wondering if this would work. Also, is /4" the right size anyway? thet is the size of the fitting on the sending unit from autometer......or, do i need to get some kind of line and run it all new...?

2. intake temperature sensor.....i was wondering if it would be ok to plumb the thermo couple for the temp sensor into the backside of the throttle body intake elbow or somewhere near there, or, should i go the more PIA way, and tap & die it into the UIM? the UIM way is much more of a PIA than the TB elbow, and the likeliness of it being an easy jobseem scarce. and would the degree be drastically affected by the few inches in location difference?

please give me ur input, i am trying to finish up the installs tonight....
