need door handle

Hey everyone woke up this morning to go to school and when i unlocked my door and pulled up on the handle it just snapped off... talk about a great start to my day. I think there was ice under the handle and maybe it froze my plastic a little. I need the drivers side handle if any of you have one or know where i could get one i would appreciate it. Thanks

In my experience, if you keep the door handle internals well lubricated the stock handle is sufficiently strong.

But those aluminum ones kick ***.

I bought a new door handle assembly from Ray at Malloy Mazda when the same thing happened to me. Search the forum for Malloy Mazda for their number and ask for Ray Crowe.

96 for one side.

Ray's number is 703-490-8170

Tell me what quote you get and I'll lower mine. Honestly though, its going to cost ALOT. If you are thinking about buying new OEM, I recommend you go with rx7doorhandles route. If your looking to save money, buy used. Tell me the best price you get and from where and I will discount mine significantly for you.

Ray's is well over $100. You aren't going to find it any cheaper than rhdjapan, unless you find a used one.

I think I paid somewhere around $125-150 for mine with overnight shipping from Ray. His price was way better than anyone I found at the time and he shipped it the same day I talked to him.

The OP needs the drivers side handle for what I assume is a left hand drive car. The one you linked is the drivers side but for a right hand drive car. Do you have the other handle for that price as well?

Yes, RHD has the USDM Driver's side for around $90shipped. It use to quite a bit cheaper than that, but OEM Mazda parts went up on their website. I honestly don't know how they do it with the door handles. With my account with Mazda Motorsports, that is one of the few parts that is significantly more than RHDJapan.

I bought mine from JKL Racing Engineering. anodized black aluminum and guaranteed not to break. They even feel different when opening the door and take less of an opening angle to get the door open.
