How would a rotary handle an AWD Powertrain?
I was thinking, a crazy project would be an FD with a 20B engine on a G35 Coupe AWD Powertrain (I figure the G35 because its one of the only longitudinal oriented engine because of it being RWD/AWD instead of FWD/AWD, so it would be easier?)
I dont suppose the lack of torque would make it wrong for an AWD platform? or would AWD help it?

Theres nothing stopping a rotor being mounted E-W.
A guy over here in NZ had a FWD rotary 80 something (maybe 1989) 323 sedan. Lawton Rotorsport was the place.
Edit: I didnt say it was a "good" idea.....just that it can be done.

I have been racking my brain trying to find this. Wasn't there a 3 rotor AWD FD back in the mid 90's?
I remember seeing a pic of a FD that was blue and white racing down a mountain road. I don't remember if it was at Pike Peak or where but I do remember the description of the car. I am pretty sure it was an AWD 3 rotor.
