I have the same question? I've tried soap and water and scrub the hell out of the plastic sh*t but it won't come off. What's the magic formula for that without stripping or messing it up?

I just use a spray automotive upholstery cleaner and a nylon scrub brush to clean the shoe scuffs off my sills, doors and kick panels. No problem.

leather cleaner works well..

let it sit for a while, then use a terrycloth or something to rub it off. Rub it in many different directions to get down into the crevaces.

I second this! The easiest way to solve your problem is to get black interior panels. I will now wait and move on before ever again considering a car with such an interior color, even if it kills me!

Go to the detail department of your local car dealer. They should have an all purpose degreaser. I use the stuff from my dealership on everything: panels, seats, carpets, wheels, tires, windows, etc. The stuff is completely safe, and on the tan interior it only takes a few light wipes, and it's clean.
