Question Couple of questions..

I am a new FD owner and I have a few questions:

1. What is the advantages of an under pulley? What are some good ones to get?

2. I currently have a downpipe and a catback mods on my car. I am getting backfire during warmup and after warmup at higher RPM's. Is there anything I should do immediatly to the car? I do not have a boost gauge yet (I know, shame on me) but I am getting one soon.

Thanks for the help.

Backfiring is normal and pulleys are easy power, as well as reducing water pump cavitation at high engine speeds.

Exclamation

If you're a new FD owner, I *highly* recommend you attend MADS the weekend of March 30/31 at VIR, near Danville. Last time I went (in 2000 I believe) there were over 150 FDs. Definitely the best place for a new 3rd gen owner to be, and it's right in your own state

let me know if you need any more info....
