need BOV help please...

well i installled my BOV last week along with my intake, and everything was working fine untill today... After a short drive the sound of the BOV started changing... around 3000rpm the sound, sounds like an annoying really high pitch scream and i am not even punching the gas... i checked under the hood and everything looked fine... any suggestions of what might be going on, or if i may have installed it incorrectly... someone please help, this sound is soo embarrassing...

It could also be a boost leak. Check the coupler from the Y-pipe to the crossover pipe. A very high pitched squeal can occur around 3000 rpm's if there's a leak in that coupler (or any other for that matter.)
