13brew to 13bre conversion?

So if I had 13brew everything except for the block, and i bought a Cosmo block, would everything fit right? or what should I do? I took my motor to Atkins rotary, and they left me a price of 3500 for rebuild with used parts... When I am looking at online stores that sell motors for 1400, 1700, or in a cheaper general area. So should I keep looking for a 13b rew? or should i pick up the 13bre? Why is the 13bre usually cheaper? what all do I need to make the cosmo fit? can it use the FD tranny? and everything else? thanks to helpers!
