need advice on loose hose....

i have the apexi intake....

on the top filter, there's a hole for a hose that just has a rubber cap on it...

there's a hose running up there for this, with a little brown thing in the hose, i THINK it's a bov? does this need to be connected? or is it fine?

what does that "bov" say?, if its the abv, then thats the car's BOV and you can vent it to the atmosphere if you choose.. if not, then get a rubber hose and run it from that part to the intake..

The one closest to the front of the car is the BOV. You can vent this to atmosphere if you want. the other brown one on the back part of the y-pipe is the charge relief valve( I believe that's the correct name). The CRV you must leave hooked into the intake because it is not a one way dealy. Some times it lets air in, so leave it hooked up.
