Mystery Smoke

Hi everyone, I have already searched...
I don't drive the car right now (we have salt and snow here), but I did start it today and let it run for a bit.
I noticed that there is smoke coming from under the hood.
Once I lifted it, I saw that it is coming from somewhere under my intake box (PFS).
More specifically, between the intake box and the passenger popup.
I am not sure what to make of it, as the strange part of this is, the smoke doesn't smell like coolant and it is light grey.
The car is stock with the exception of PFS IC and intake, boost controller and a downpipe.
If anyone has any idea of what this could be, I would really appreciate it.
I thought about one of the pipes that goes to the coolant reservoir, I just don't understand why it would smoke...
There is no leak under the car (well, some oil from oil pan, but that's another story...)
Thank you and Merry Christmas to you all.
Giovanni

check the wiring could be a bad ground on your headlight. That's what happened to me.

It might be from your oil cooler. You sure its not smoking from under the pop up?

Thanks for your suggestion boys, I'll have a look.
a couple of things:

1) it only started doing this after about 10/12 minutes, so after the car had warmed up
2) this smoke does not smell like anything, which is what puzzles me. The best description I can think of is: wash your engine bay and then start the car. Once it gets warm, you see some vapour from leftover water. That's my best description.

My car does the same after rain/ snow, just when oil temps pick up, just water on my coolers.

See, problem here is this: I saw this happening once about a month ago, last time the car was on the road.
Forward to yesterday, after sitting in the garage for 4 weeks, I saw the same thing...
I don't think there would be moisture there still from 4 weeks ago to the point that the car smokes that clearly... It's not billowing smoke, but there's a clear amount coming out of there...

Does it clear, you can get condensation with these temps. Or the pipe from the ast to over flow bottle could have splits in it. You don't notice unless it's up to temp. Check the sides of the rad for leaks. Only shows when hot no trace when cold but gets worse.

No, it just smoked until I turned it off and it started fading relatively quickly right after.
I am pretty sure this is something coming out of the engine sort to speak, in other words, coolant, rather than oil, I don't see any blue and I don't smell it either. Plus, oil would only smoke if dropping on something unbelievably hot, which doesn't' seem the case here.
I have had the car for over 3 years now and this has never happened to me. The first time I saw it (last time I drove it) I noticed the smoke coming out of the front mouth, I thought it could be the rad, but this time, in the garage, it was clearly coming from behind it, close to the light.
I am going to have a look at the AST to reservoir line, like you suggested.
Thank you.
