GM Harness not fitting 3 Bar MAP Sensor?

So I purchased a 3 BAR MAP Sensor (Part#: 12223861) and did some research and saw that the GM connector that you connect to your wiring harness is Part#: 12085502.

Went to hook them up today and the GM connector doesn't mate to the 3 BAR MAP sensor connector...is there modification that needs to be done?

Also, how do I change the settings in the PFC commander for when I do get this sensor installed, or do I need to pull out my datalogit?

There are a lot of small variations in GM/Delphi harness plugs and a number of manufacturers. I prefer the Banzai Racing MAP sensor kit because it works every time. If it's not working, bring the sensor to carquest and ask them to help you find one that works. They have a big book of connector pigtails.

You will need a Datalogit to change the MAP sensor scaling in the settings 3 tab. There area couple different values that people use. I use scale 6630 offset 0.

I have ran into that issue in the past. Look at both sides of the connector. If I recall correctly you need to put a notch in one of them.

Yea there are notches that the sensor has that the connector does not have.

Here is the MAP sensor

Here is the connector,

As you can see, on the sensor, there are plastic tabs coming out on the left and middle. The connector should have slots for it to slide into those slots but as you can see in the second picture, the connector only have cutouts in the far right and far left.

Went ahead and modified the fitting and have it all hooked up. Why are there multiple values for the MAP sensor? You are saying 6630, 0 offset and then I did a search and some said 6750, 250 offset.

Settings on my map right now is 5263, 3947 offset on the stock MAP sensor.

Well I got the sensor installed and used the 6630 offset 0 as my PIM settings for my map. Car started right up and there seems to be no problems.

Steve Kan is coming to tune the car in January on my new motor/turbo/AI so I'm excited.

Thanks all for the help!
