My twins

per request, im gonna throw up some pictures of my twin kit

Setup:

Twin borg warner s200
Twin tial 40's
Custom mani, d/p, exhaust
Ported engine
TECIIIr
PCS d200 digital datalogger dash
A1000 fuel pump
850/1600 (prolly going to swap to all 1600's)
sumped tank
E-water pump
etc...

Car also has a jerico 4speed dogmission, custom PPF and driveshaft, streetport, and whatnot.

It has actually progressed a good bit from these pictures. all vaccume hoses are done in S/S, wiring is wrapped, etc.

Goal is to break the 10second barrier with some hint of reliability.

its a dogbox transmission very good and strong.

I like your setup however I dont knwo why u decided to use 2 bov's on one pipe. u really dont need two of them one would have been sufficient

That's starting to look like an old muscle drag car. Just a hunk of metal in the middle of the engine bay with a radiator and pipes/wires.

Anyway, that thing is crazy. I like the speedo too

throw that baby on the dyno and give us some numbers! I guess this would be a dumb question but i'll ask it anyway when do the turbo's start to spool?

i'm guessing that's not a sequential set up... if it's non-seq., then what's the benefit of running two smaller turbos rather than one large one? smaller rotating mass and faster spool?

nice car. a lot of time spend on that ride.

just curious what was the reason for using those turbos instead of like hks GT35 or turbonetics BB ones?

also, what is that water bottle that's hooked up to ur fuel pressure regulator for?? looks a bit dangerous..

HA!

that is my oil catch can

i had a fosters can there for a while...

I havent had a chance to mount my greddy one.

as for using borg warners, I prefere them to garrett turbos, they make tons of power and have excellent compressor maps. That and i had a hookup with them for a while. BB turbos are a waste of money to me.

I only have it tuned to 10psi right now. (wastegate spring)

It is fairly laggy, 10psi comes at around 4500. Considering I'm running over 90mm of compressor, thats pretty damn good. Can only get better with the PCS d200 driven boost controller.

It plugs into the TECIIIR and uses its own inputs. It also datalogs, has a gmeter and GPS capabilities, and controlls boost. They arent out yet, but i know someone that knows someone

so what does the dual blow off valve sound like?? I have seen supras run them also. I guess for the same reason as you, they were free so why not.

By the sound I guess, is the sound level less than if you had a single going? Seems like it would be a good idea for someone who doesnt like the BOV sound too much if it is quiet.
