get that darn alternator pulley on there, and why do you have the airpump bracket thingy on the engine?

Is that a water temp fitting on the front of the water pump for an aftermarket gauge?

Is your FPR mounted on something or just sittin there?

I cant tell from the picture...

Wow, really similar to my times back when i was on stock sequential twins with all the bolts ons (368 rwhp).....ran a 12.7 @113 against a new cobra that ran a 13.6 @108....needless to say the cobra owner was like

interesting...your trap seems low for your power. Perhaps your power, that was indicaed on the dyno, is wrong. I am willing to guess the latter especially since u said it was on a peak boost of 13 psi for crysake.

Traction problems will limit your trap speed. I was out on street tires saturday running 19lbs of boost only trapped 121mph. I know my car is making more than 370HP at 19lbs

hey matt--

all of my runs were at a track near austin called little river/temple academy raceway. It's notorious for having slow et's b/c of a shitty track (not level/bad traction) and also b/c of the humidity (river parallels the track).

Having said that, not sure if my traps were affected by all this. I will tell ya that i have doubts that i ever dynoed at 368 on stock twins.....i was not there for the dyno and have heard stories about KDR's dyno being inaccurate since. I *will* say that 382 at 13 psi on stock twins ain't happening in my book. I made the supposed 368 at like 15 psi......

my understanding is that trap speed is a good indication of power. My traps would hardly move despite my et flucuating .5 seconds and regardless of my 60 foot time.

see my reply to jason. Frankly i dont like dynos that much. I prefer to measure rwhp off of trap speeds. i made 340 rwhp and trap 116mph usually....they seem to match so i am comfortable in my dyno numbers.

Jason what psi was the 506rw again?
I trapped 121 with 379rw dyno corrected on a cold night so yes your traction is making you have a wimpy trap! well not that wimpy haha

Typically your trap speed doesnt change much based on your 60, but there are other factors that will change it.

nah i opted for the 2mm..

trap speed can be greatly effected by spinning the tires, and slow shifting.

also if you noticed he said he ran lower boost while at the track then he did on the dyno.
