It's been a while since I posted on this, so I thought I would update it. Like I said last year, once everything was running good, I just drove it. I covered it up for the winter and didn't do a thing to it. Not to say I didn't buy anything ... Well it's spring and I've taken it out a few times and she seems to be running great. Polished engine looks good. I haven't even washed it, just a little Meguiars Quick Detailer and she shines. But I do have a few things I'll probably do the season ...

I've had a Feed Type II Front bumper from Shine sitting in my basement for about a year. Paint isn't cheap, so I'm just making sure this is the way I want to go. Also making sure it's a color I won't get sick of quickly.
The Apexi Silencer is 115mm but it also comes in 90mm. If it's the right size, it just bolts in. In my case, the tip on my exhaust fans out and is a little bit too short. I have to trim the end off a bit (to get rid of the fanning out part). Decide how much I want the new tip to stick out and cut it. Then I'll bolt her up and test it out.
No sound clips right now. By far one of the best sounding BOV's I've heard (if you like the pssst). You can also get different inserts to make different sounds. It works well but I've read about BOV's on this forum and everyone will tell you something different. "You don't need one, keep the stock one until you go single, there a waste of money, they sound ricey, .... " I personally like the sound (most of the time) and this one polished up looks pretty good. Too bad you can hardly see it under all the other stuff. Do a search on youtube. I'm pretty sure there's a couple of clips with this BOV.

It snowed out here on the weekend, so no rippin' around or golf. I took off my hatch plastics and decided to fix a hole and a couple scrapes and then I repainted them. Turned out pretty good. Now I think I may throw my 2 amps and cap into the spare tire wheel well. Just need to fabricate some type of box for them. I also received one of my exterior pieces in the mail. It's sweeeet.

I got off work early today and decided to start a new project. The trunk ... Here's what I've done so far. Tell me what you think.
The Box (replacement for the spare tire):
Amps & Cap (tight fit but it will work):
All Wired Up:
Test Fit (like a glove):
I plan to make a new cover for the back and put in some plexiglass so the amps are visible. Possibly going to put in some dynamat as well. Then I'll see if I can fab some kind of sub boxes for behind the seats. The space where the back seats used to be is such an odd shape to work with. I'll figure something out. Would you believe it, it's snowing out here again. Back to the trunk project ... I took out the back seat and all the rear seat belt stuff. Then I realized I had to cover a couple of holes left by the seat belts and the rear seat latch. So I pulled out all the rear plastics. Since everything was out, I also decided to refinished the truck plastics and fix any major scratches. I'm ready to throw it all back in but it's just too damn cold out right now ... so I update my thread. This is how it's turned out so far.

I also got in a couple of things for my project. I decided to go OEM on the bumper lights, so I picked up a used set off one of the members here. Polished up the lenses and they look like new. I also found a chrome efini badge. Had to buy a set so now I have couple extra efini symbols and a MS-6 emblem.

That's it for now. My short list: Reinstall all the hatch plastics, clean up the wiring for my stereo stuff, make a new cover for the trunk, dynamat the seat wells, & design some kind of sub box. Oh ya, and shovel the driveway.

hey man everything is looking good like the thread but i have a suggestion i would cover the power cable goin across the fire wall with black loom or re-route it. just a thought..... keep the pic coming very nice

All the hoses are from http://www.verociousmotorsports.com. They have a pretty good selection of stuff. I like the shade of blue they carry and the hoses have a matte finish to them. The vacuum tubing is platinum cured (which is supposed to be better) and the heat hose is polyester reinforced.
I know about the powerline and I totally agree. I ran it that way because the previous owner ran some wires that way and that's where the hole was. I really wasn't sure about where I was going to put my amps so I've left it there until I figured it out. I Didn't want to shorten the wire and then figure out I what to put it somewhere else. It's actually already done. I think I have a permanent place for my amps so I re-routed on the other side. I'll take some pics later when it's not so cold out.
