hmmmmmmmm I think that is the same ones as on the North American rx7's. If you wanted a efini y-pipe, check out www.gothamracing.com or www.rx7store.net. How much did you pay for it?

Ah yes, that should net you a -.09/+.09 hp being that it is identical to the ones that came on the 93-95 us rx-7s.

You need a 99'+ spec efini y-pipe for your dyno proven 5-8hp gain.

Hope you got a good deal on that.

I paid $150 for my 99'+ efini y-pipe/crossover pipe set-up.

you should have bought the 97+ throttle body. It's larger than the US throttle.

Didn't you ask if this pipe was special a few days ago? I believe the general answer was... this is no special pipe.

Yup, unfortunately. An efini y-pipe doesn't have that coupler connecting the crossover tude.

It happens but it was only 43 dollars, which isn't that bad. At least they didn't charge you the 150+ for an authentic efini y-pipe.

Try ebay or the parts section, sometimes people are looking for misc. parts like that.

I knew it wasn't the efini y-pipe. I was just hoping that it would be somewhat better than the stock US version. At least it wasn't an expensive screwup. I emailed the guy to see if he'd just keep the part and I would get my money back but I doubt he'll go for it.

That's funny, I saw that on ebay and then looked at all his sales and they all say the same lie. From 97+ JDM batter flow and more HP or somecrap like that. It doesn't take much effort to do a web search or post a qustion here. If you buy the paypal insurance you can get refunded. You could have retracted your bid because his ad was decieving and misleading. I threw my stock y-pipe kit in the trash. I didn't think i'd get two bits for it.

My custom Y-pipe

Here is a picture of the custom Y-pipe I made. It has been ground smooth inside as well..(I hate to use the universal term "ported".. But it is.)
