my new turbo!!!! what have i got myself into!!!!

hey guys just wanted to share some pic of my new turbo for a single setup. its a new holset WH1E. shooting for 400 to 450 to the wheels.

I use to work diesel and holset turbos were very common...
They never had any problem running 30 psi constantly... lol

thats cause they were diesel engines...i hope you dont plan on running that kind of boost

interesting id love to see how much you can get it to, kas with that kind of turbo and 30psi... i got to say, its looked like over 500 to me GL dont blow it on first try

you see them on many 100,000 mile diesels so i dont see why they wouldnt last, but we will see because im almost done with the car.

The main thing that I'd worry about would be whether it will spool-up fast enough. Turbo-diesel turbos are usually not made for quick response, since they run at more constant conditions.

Hope it works OK.

yeah i have to order a non wastegated hot side because this one hits the a/c lines and the heater hose on the pass. side strut tower lol.
