Is the FPR bigger on FD than FC ? Walbro

Wow, here we go again.... back to a mostly stock car but, now it is an fd.

Going to put my old walbro in the new fd and would like to know if the fpr is any bigger than the dinky T2 Fuel pressure regulator pin hole. I used to get spikes in pressure at idle from all the increased flow when the injectors are mostly closed.

Two more simple questions:
Is it as easy to fit in on the fd...the fc was a cake walk?
Is the stock fuel pump wiring any better than fc?

Thanks

Lots of FD guys run upgraded fuel pumps on the stock FPR. Also they have the same crappy fuel pump wiring with the resistor relay.
