Congrats on your purchase. The car looks familiar. I can't recall the previous owner's handle, but I'm sure the other members will chime in. It does appear to be a well sorted car, and quite clean.

I hope you are familiar with RX7's....

One request, don't go turning up the boost past what the previous owner has had it tuned for .....

If it used to be a auto, you might want to check to see if you have the 4.1 differential that the manuals came with.

Search on here for some pics of the differentials. the auto has a thick flange where the drive shaft meets up with the differential. Manual has a thin flange think it's called a companion flange. There is a difference. For example. 10 speed bicycle. Taller gears you can pedal alot faster easier, put in a lower gear it's harder to get going faster. It helps with acceleration. It's not a huge difference, but if your into racing, you want to a advantage that is one way it helps leave the line. The auto 3.9 differential you'll have a faster top end, and 4.1 will be faster off the start but will lose a little top end.

The stock rpm guage. Automatic car has 7K redline.

I know the previous owner. he kept it very well maintained & he spent every penny he had to buy only the best for it. hope your enjoying it. and yes it WAS an automatic and yes it is a 3.9 rear diff like I said b4 lanceuppercut.
