i did notice a hose about to come off some kinda valve behind the turbos, i couldnt get past the tube going to the midpipe with my hand , but i did push it back on all the way with a long flathead screwdriver.

Yes. In addition to aiding exhaust flow a little, it dramatically reduces underhood temps. If you've been running the stock pre-cat, it will be like going from the Sahara to the North Pole in terms of temps. Way better for underhood plastics, wiring, vac lines etc.

But it's so fun At least it's easier than doing an FC's precat. When I had my FC I got discouraged with how much of a PITA it was being so I ran around town for a 3 weeks with just the precat on, I felt like I was driving a diesel. Hearing the turbine spool was a joy as well. Then I eventually had time to work on it again and got the precat off. The same happened with the FD except I only ran around for a week like that.

car is all stock except for downpipe, just installed. i do have the mid pipe and muffler-not on yet. i was wondering what elsei could do before i have to worry about boost creep or spike.i didnt know if i could do the complete exhaust without doing anything else yet, ie=cold intake or fmic.i plan on getting a power fc comander soon.

car is 93 touring with 78k on body,20k on motor. dp and turbo timer only bolt ons.i really didnt wana do wastegate until motor or turbos are finished. need dependable-longlasting bolt on horsepower, maybe half as much as my vette.

It's dark like Poe.
Porting the wastegate is a simple and effective means of controlling spike. With the downpipe off, you unbolt your turbos and, with the right tools, you can do it yourself. If you wait, your engine or turbos WILL go due to creep, and then you'll be out extra money. So much for dependable and long-lasting horsepower, right? And nevermind it being half your 'Vette; you could spend a lot more if you don't take precautionary measures with the rotary.
