Wow... talk about lucky to the nth degree, like most folks above me already said. 2500??? Do you know what 2500 will buy you nowadays? Probably a 93 cavalier that's barely running, if you're lucky

Congrats on the find... pics please!

Good find. So what are you plans for it, as far as mods? Do you plan on keeping it automatic?

Pics Pics Pics!!!!

Here ya go guys the $2,500 FD

Pics of Montego Blue FD!

With the money I saved I will see if RotorSport will do a 5 Speed swap for me

thanks guys for all your good comments, yes I guess I am a lucky bastard, *** hole, guy, and lucky ****.

My mods are first going to be the reliability mods first, as you can see it is bone stock. The engine was rebuilt 3 years ago before the woman stopped driving it.

The front bumpers bottom lip is busted from where someone ran it over a curb. So I am going to go '99 spec with a front bumper and get the tail lights converted to '99 spec. I really think it is a Base model after looking threw you guys signatures and cardomain sights instead of a touring. No Bose soundsystem and no rear windshield wiper. Can any of you tell me if it is base.

Thanks for some comments on the car. I don't think I did to shabby for the car even though it has alot of interior damage and rust on the doors. It looks like someone side swiped the passenger side mirror.

Round of Beer for my RX-7 buddies, I couldn't have done it without you guys!

Good for you! You don't see deals like this very often. I had a buddy in college who went to look at an old mustang (described in the paper). An older lady answerd the door. My buddy went out in the back into a locked garge. Under a car cover was Shelby GT350 white and blue with 2600 miles on it. He paid two grand for it.

My wife's aunt has a GT500. She though it wasa regular Mustang. It was in very good condition. Original Paint and everything. She was thinking of selling it since her husband died she was going to sell it for 10k. Since it was family I had to tell her what it was.
