my first fd...can they be reliable?

hey I'm getting a 93 rx 7 and I was just wondering if you could slightly mod em but keep em reliable enough for a daily driver? I've had a couple 2nd gens and they were pretty good to me, but have read a lot about unreliable 3rd gens...but I think it's cuz of the mods...if you kept the mods to a minimum can they be reliable? thank you for all the help...

NO. A reliable FD is all the luck of the draw and then how you treat her. FDs are just just like woman, never turn your back on her or she will take your wallet. The beter you treat her the better she treats you.

Pic up a book on how to treat the ladies and marry your FD.
