well, ive often wondered if my engine had been out and back in. some of you know that i have been in the middle of an engine build. im pulling the tranny and engine as a whole and getting the 5th gear synchro fixed as well. i keep on finding strange things like mis-matched bolts and nuts. . . a broken accessory bracket (PS & A/C bracket) and other stuff. today, while i was getting ready to unbolt the PPF (this has taken several days cause im working by myself till i get ready to pull it out. . . and its been raining like God was trying to put the fires of hell out himself!!!) i noticed that there were some rings worn into the metal around the mounting nuts. . . . . . . straaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaange. then i look at the upper-forward nut (tranny side) and notice that it is at the bottom of the threads. . . . sweeeeeeeeeeeeet!!!!! this isnt the happiest moment in my life. so, anyways, i soaked them all down with some trusty ol' PB Blaster. . . went inside. . . watched tv for about 30 minutes. . . came outside soaked them again waited about 10 mins. . . tried to take them off. . . the one that were seated properly were tight as hell so i left them alone for the moment. i moved on to the one that was backed off to the end of the threads. . . started to loosen. . . and voila. . . THE DAMN STUD IS SPINNING IN ITS ******* SOCKET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! today............................................. ............................ i am an angry man.
