I made a prototype monster vmount to work with the stock twin turbos. The red car on this thread will be the tester. Need to wait until the owner comes back from overseas to test fit it on the car.

You can come check it out after it's done to make sure there isn't any fitment issue. You can come check out the "mickey mouse" brackets mounting everything securely and the underpanel goes on without any problem. There is definitely no cutting of subframe. If it requires cutting subframe, I would have put on a 3 rotor in there if it's that much trouble.

Chuck if you give me a monster V-mount kit, I will prove to these guys that it fits without issue.

Just send it right over.

Sorry, "off road use only". For productions this small, to get it CARB approved isn't going to be possible. Simply doens't make enough to afford it. But this intercooler setup let you keep the air pump so you should be able to pass the sniffer test.

As far as I know, none of the intercooler kit out there is CARB Approved. Maybe the Greddy SMIC is. I had one like 9 years ago. I think it was CARB approved, not very sure though.

Chuck, when are you going to get your V-Mount CARB approved? I'm looking into an IC upgrade and would buy one no problem but don't want to have issues with the California smog *****.

Another thing to point out is that the HKS v-mount requires P/S removal (I don't care because I removed the P/S regardless) and I've noticed some funky fitment issues with that model, as well.

My vmount lets you keep A/C, power steering, air pump, efini pipe.
