Sorry about your FD, that really sucks. Everytime I take mine out it's always a gamble but what can you do. You can't enjoy it if you don't drive it. Not wanting to start no stuff but the only way you hit somebody in the rear is that your following too close or your not paying attention. I understand the illegal u turn by Ms. Dumbas... but you don't have much of a defense when you rearend someone. Not trying to be Mr. Perfect driver, maybe I didn't quite understand how it happened. Anyway it's good to see that your ok and your FD only suffered minor damage. Good luck getting her fixed up.

I didnt rear end her, she crashed into the side of my car. I was just driving straight and she made a U-turn from the opposite side of the street right into me.

Now I get it, thanks for clearing that up for me. She is a certified "DUMBAS...." Time to get that insurance money and take care of the FD. Good luck.

There was a recall from Mazda on a problem with the fuel hoses in the engine compartment. This might be a cause for some of those fires.

Mine was an electrical fire. Apparently there was a short on the fan relays... Sometimes I don't get it... I thought the entire electrical current was fused to prevent this.

Yeah I'm most likely going to fix it, I'm trying to get a reasonable insurance claim right now to cover the repair costs and the vehicle buy-back.
