**wondering were i would put my lift in my apparments....** how well do they take to being outside = ). Man i wish i had one. The problem isnt the jacking or the trusting, its being on the oil and coolant soaked ground that kills me

Those are cool! I saw one in person last year at a trade show and The price was around $1,800 or so for a 6 foot rise. I wonder if I could still manage to use one with my Feed side skirts? (probably not)

I want a parking left so I can stack one car on top of the other. We have 11.5 foot ceilings in our 3 car garage.

Man...no one gets nervous stacking cars on top of one another like that? Yea I know it's sturdy and all, but something about it is unsettling to me...

IIRC, the specs for my two post said it was suppose to be installed with a 12 ft. ceiling clearance. But I'll bet 11.5 would work.
And Ramy, FWIW, my lift is electric/hydraulic with big safety latches on both posts. As a further safety measure, you have to hold a dead-man lever along with the hydraulic relief for it to be lowered. And if you key the power, no one else can turn it on, which means no one but you can lower it once a car is up there.
