Exclamation My baby is sick!!!!

Hey guys i need help on my Rex. She caught a cold or something. Today i was doing a little day cruisin enjoying the cloudy day in New Mexico. As i stoped at a friends house and tried to start my FD she would not start. It sounds likes she wants to start but its like she is not getting enough gas. I have checked the spark and plugs along with the fuel pump. every thing on that end looks great. Some say it might be my ECU, a cracked Apex seal or an ingector might be open. I need help!!!!

when you pulled the plugs were they wet? ...try pulling your EGI fuse (big one under the hood by batt.) have the car jumped to another car thats running... then crank for a few.... 10 sec. maybe... then hook the bus fuse back up and give it a crank... could be flooded... worst could be blown... normally the motor will start on a blown motor though... if that does not work lookup flooding and there will be a link on how to get it started again if the plugs were wet.

if it was your apex seals you would notice some bad idle before you shut the car off. is the motor cranking at all? do you hear any clicking when you try and start... need a few more details. I would say get the compression test done and ask also for a water pressure test. other then that try not to worry too much about it. i hope it turns out to be nothing serious.

If you have no clue what it could be, the first thing to do is see if any engine codes come up. If you car was running fine, then just wouldn't start, I'm sure it's probably a bad wire connection or sensor. I doubt your engine is blown, esspecially if there were no problems before you turned off the car. The engine codes will help you pin-point the problem. You can jump the grounds in the diagnostic terminal to get any codes.

low compression motors will often idle without signs.. If you motor has low compression it will often not start when hot. does it start after it cools down?

Are you sure you're getting spark?

May be a dead fuel pump? fuse? Clogged filter?
