N and GE sensors?

Do and of you know what exactly the N and GE sensors control. I believe it to be the timing or injector control...

They are the crank angle sensors. They let the ECU know what position the engine is in, so it can figure out when to inject fuel and ignite the plugs.

I doubt it. If the car runs, then I'm willing the bet both the CAS's are okay. Run a fault code check to be sure...

what led you to believe that the NE and G signals are causing poor performance. the computer usually either gets the signals or doesn't. You can run a lab scope on them to check their output if you feel so inclined but again, why do you think they're bad? Also....what symptoms do you have with your "poor performance"?

Well we watched them on a scope today and they were really crazy. No such pattern at all just bouncing around. I also have a faulty intake temp. sensor as well. These codes were both found using a Motis scan tool.
