My 7 Project (updated pics)

Well it's going to the body shop next week for fresh paint... When I get it back the engine (JPR street port full reman new housings and rotors) will be dropped in, still getting together a few parts...

I've been selling the rx-7 plates (as seen in pic) and just made some more so I have plenty to go around. see sig.

Also if anyone needs polishing done I've been doing it on the side and turn around for UIM is 1 day, I also shave the casting !!! 150 shipped back to u...

anyways here are some pics... i should of touched up the UIM its been handled a lot. still, you get the idea.

I dont want to hurt your feelings but thats not polishing

Look at some of my work on my personal car. It takes a lot of practice and there is no way to do it in one day really. I dont take many shots of my work but I have hundreds of hours of polishing 3d gen parts experience

yea, that doesn't look polished. Looks more like brushed or maybe machined. Personally I like it better than polished but polished it is not.

I am impressed SurgeMonster -- That is some nice polish work! I also like they 'soft finish' look of SpiritRex7's; not as flashy but looks clean.

Looks like a great project Spirit, what color will the body get? Titamium Silver or IBC maybe? Also, are you staying sequential or going single? I only ask because Madusa isnt rearing her ugly head in any of your pics.

Cant wait for more pics!

yeah, wow I don't "bling" like that... WOW !that looks incredible. I like the way mine looks though, with the casting off and with a few coats of mothers it looks really clean but not chrome-like effect...

The car will be staying black only because I'm seeing lots of IBM & silver metallic cars on the forums... I have yet to see a black version of Jose's car, thats kind of what I'm going for... I will be running gt35/40 by next summer but when i get my car back from the shop I'm just gonna slap a set of 99specs and run the hks v-mount, power fc, etc. on the car try to get mid 11's off of it.

If I like the way it feels i just may keep it, but after owning a single turbo supra i probably will want more power. I'm excited it will be like having a rare paid off new supercar when i get it back.
