Hope you know how expensive that's going to get. Insurance i can only imagine for a 17 yr old...but unless you're rich, you should really thank your parents.

your pretty damn lucky. i bet your parents are going to pay to fix it when it breaks. you lucky you dont live in NYC, cause insurence is going to be well over 3k a year when you get a FD at this age.
Oun - now you deserve to have any car for serving our country

bought my rx7 a month before i turned 19. Insurance is around 1115/month full coverage in CA. And I paid most of it myself for the car, parents helped with a bit. But of course, I am working at Bank Of America, getting paid pretty well and still have trouble surviving with the damn gas price LOLZ. Welcome to the forum, and hope that u dont *** up ur nice rx7. And of course learn from it and treasure it and LOVE IT, becuz the 7 will bring u so much attention that u would never xpect =D Welcome buddy!

Money is not what I'm thinking about on this one. You guys don't know the kid or how he got it so just chill out on that issue. I'm more concerned about a 17 year old, not even owning a stock FD, but single turbo Rx-7!

FDs and teenagers don't mix....the only thing that mixes well with them is a '98 Chevy Lumina and a fat chick who doesn't care

then again, that car already looks "pimped"

all downhill from here....another FD gone....mine is more valuable now

you guys make it seem like an FD is an expensive car. wheather or not his parents paid for the car they probably didnt spend more then 17k on it. i can think of a lot of kids whoes parents have bought them new civics and accords and those are at least the same price as a used fd.

Nice Car even if I am not a fan of the Veilside ci body kit at all. Just take care of it and do not fill up your mind. It is way to easy to do so with an RX7 a go wrong.

Take care and have fun.

I cant believe how easy young people can buy a car like that over in the US. Here in the Netherlnads you have to be at least 24 of age and have no bad history in car driving. The insurance is expensive as hell, let alone the gas which is 1,50 per liter.

No insurance company would insure my car when I had it when I was 18. luckily I could afford it when I was 21, thats even very young over here.

That sucks about the driving requirements in the Netherlands, but over there, you guys have other advantages.
