My 3rd gen dyno

Yay for me.

I am going multipost thread category this.

Dyno is at 13.6 psi of boost. Turbo is a T72, "Q" trim, 1.32 AR, dual ballbearing.

We ended the run early, for the pressure was pushing the injectors out of the LIM. We stopped at 6175 RPM on this run after making final changes. So, ultimately, the car makes more power than shown; for the extra 1k in rpm's are still unaccounted for.

Here is the RPM/RWHP breakdown:

3,769 RPM = 195 RWHP
4,092 RPM = 300 RWHP
4,307 RPM = 400 RWHP
4,576 RPM = 500 RWHP
4,845 RPM = 560 RWHP
5,437 RPM = 600 RWHP
6,175 RPM = 628.8 RWHP

No, I will not make the image smaller either.

Impressive HP Numbers
Confused, what happened at 65 mph !?? Shift !?
Pissed, that in Cali, I'd be breaking way more laws than speeding...

Oh BTW, the dip in the dyno is from starting the recording early (3rd gear) and then shifting into 4th for the run.

I don't know. No one except DCrosby has posted... And you don't count.

I should have created another account with 0 posts and posted it. That way it would have been real fun.

how high? ? Maybe 4k or so? When on a Dyno, you drive like normal. Do you shift to 4th at 1k rpm in 3rd? So you have drive a little bit to get up to speed.

13.6 lbs was the average. It changed very fast between 10.8 - 14.7 lbs. But the overall average, according to the computer, is 13.6 lbs. A mechanical boost gauge would have shown you 13.6lbs during the run. An electronic one would be around that area, but fluxing very fast above and below occasionally.

The numbers across the bottom are... instead of RPM. But I did the rpm converson for you.

The graph, is in RWHP.

because 600+rwhp out of a rotary (13b) is... hard to believe as very very few have done it (especially at this low psi). scoot needed just about 2bar boost just to get to ~740rwhp...

he he, guys in this forum are always talking,,, the car was dyno at Mother's Performance. same place where many of the top racers in the east cost go. it is a DYNOJET , last time i check, it was a real dyno. here is my dyno sheet of my rx-8 which has the same engine package than mike. besides the shifting drop, it is the same. 14 psi. compare both.
