Mpg on the 3rd Gens

yeah. I get around 14-15 in the city or highway..but I sure as hell don't cruise at 1-2k in 5th gear on the highway..I put my foot in it a little more than that.
The renesis is supposed to be a whole whole lots more fuel efficient. I, for one, can't wait..

Since I broke in the engine I just can't keep from making every effing accelaration a 0-60 time! Average 13mpg mixed but having fun! During breakin I got 20-25 city and 30 hwy!

FYI, with the stock tires, 70 mph in 5th gear is about 2,800 rpm. 50 mph would be 2,000 rpm. With P275/40-17s, that'd drop to about 1,930, and 70 mph would be about 2,700. And I've never heard of anyone getting 30 mpg unless you coasted downhill from gas station to gas station. Better check your math...

I averaged around 14-15 mpg in town, and about 21-22 at best on the highway, with full mods, non-sequential stock twins, and a somewhat heavy right foot.
