Mounting Defi 60mm gauges and control unit?

Couple of questions. Where did you guys mount your 60mm gauges and Defi control unit? I do know the 52mm A pillar gauge pods can be modded to fit a 60mm gauge, but can you do the same to the tripower speaker pods? Finally, will a 60mm gauge fit in a DIN slot?

I have my gauges mounted on Frank's custom-made tripod on center speaker...and the Defi Unit II in the DIN area. Best option I think...keeps your eye on the road w/ gauges and the Unit II in a subtle area not needing to look much when driving. See attached pic:

Nice. It's a damn shame that the flyrx7 pods are so hard to get now-a-days. What DIN holder is that with the door?

I'm planning on mounting my controller, turbo timer and boost controller in the glove box. using a mounting plate to have everything flush. Any info on that Franks gauge pod?. Also where do most of you connect for power on these controllers? sorry did'nt mean to jack your thread.

I have the boost and water temps on the a-pillar and then oil pressure, fuel pressure, and oil temp in frank's 60mm tri-pod. i have the defi control unit in the little flip box in the din.

Not sure if you can dremmel the tripower speaker pod. why not just get a 60mm (does anyone still make these?). as for DIN slot, i don't think a 60mm gauge will fit, but honestly haven't measured.

I'd get a 60mm speaker gauge pod, except that nobody seems to make them anymore. Nor can I find one for sale that hasn't already been scooped up.

Ok my final question: Can the 52mm tripower pod be dremeled out to accept Defi 60mm gauges? The guys at rx7store.net say no. Some guys online say yes. Anyone actually done this?

I just used the holders they come with and used double sided tape to hold them down.
