more boost = screwy numbers

I have recently added an ECU to my FD which is supposidley capable of higher boost levels. So now that I have slowly started to increase the boost, my transition from primary to secondary has screwed up. I was a 10-6-10 pattern before( I currently don't have a pill in the precontrol line), and now i am a 8-5-9 when I am punching it in 1st and shifting into second...if I remember right. If I am allready rolling in 2nd gear about 3800 and go WOT, I get 10-7-12.

Can anyone translate for me what my situation is, or at least what they think? Does my precontrol lline play a part in this? If I get it right, should it be about 12-10-12? Thanks for the help...yes I searched

Pre-controller controlls primary turbo as well. you need to put the pill in. When i took out the pill from pre-controller, and installed a profec on the wastegate no matter how much i raised the boost i got 9-10-12

Did your boost change from a launch compared to rolling like mine?
Does someone have a pic of a restrictor pill?

Thanks

in the stock lines that you took out if you didnt throw them away youll feel something hard like a bb size pill. take it out and put it in your new precontrol line. It just restricts the flow of air

Threw them away when I did the silicone hose conversion.... had no idea anything was in there.... lines were rock hard anyway
The reason I ask for a pic of one is so I can make one.....or if someone has the hole size in the pill. that would work as well..... used a Holley jet and didn't go low enough(65 I think)

A quote from this site:

http://www.rx7turboturbo.com/robrobi...controller.htm

"You can use Holley carb jets as pills. I was lucky enough to be given a whole set by my brother who stopped using Holley carbs on his race car. I recently swapped out my stock pills as I could not get more than 10 psi even with my PMC controlling boost. I installed a 0.065 pill in the wastegate line, and a 0.069 pill in the pre-control line. With these, I am now able to get all the boost I want. However, I will be putting a little smaller pill in the pre-control line to reduce the amount a spiking. This wastegate pill is almost certainly too small for the stock boost control system, and I am not sure about the pre-control pill."

I had a 65 jet in the precontrol line and still was not enough. That is why I pulled it out. Planning on using a needle valve just like my boost control.

Thanks Surge... have to look into that
