Question Mods to get me into the 12's

I am planning on buying a fd in about a month. Once bought i was wondering what mods (specifically) will get me into the 12's (high 12's is fine) and how much would the cost f all thgese mods be? I have a little over 4k for mods but i dont want all the money going to performance. So basically what mods and the price?

Thanks to all for the help

A rocket in your tailpipe.

Um... Try searching before asking these questions, theres probably some threads in there.

When I got my 7, i installed a new intercooler, radiator, intake, exaust system, and some reliability mods. Ive never actualy take mine to the trackm but I should be in the upper 12's to lower 13's.

i doubt that.

here would be a good place to start. https://www.rx7club.com/forum/showth...threadid=56980

also try searching for some words like...say... "modifications", "mods" and the like. please post the search result you came up with that showed absolutly nothing you wanted.

I'd say Intake, Downpipe, Hi-flo cat, Exhaust, Intercooler, ECU, and 12 lbs.

It shouldn't be hard to get in the 12's with just a few mods. If you look at what I have in my mods I am getting 12.9's and that is at 12 lbs. of boost with no upgraded intercooler. I am going to get a midpipe and that should secure a 12 sec. pass everytime down the strip. Oh yea a good set of drag radials and they will drop almost half a sec off your time.

A couple of passes later add a $400-500 clutch.

just a full exhaust, intake, and ecu should land you in the high 12s. of course reliability and clutch will factor in through the long run.
