Mods to get me into the 12's

I am planning on buying a fd in about a month. Once bought i was wondering what mods (specifically) will get me into the 12's (high 12's is fine) and how much would the cost f all thgese mods be? I have a little over 4k for mods but i dont want all the money going to performance. So basically what mods and the price? :)

Thanks to all for the help

A rocket in your tailpipe.

Um... Try searching before asking these questions, theres probably some threads in there.

When I got my 7, i installed a new intercooler, radiator, intake, exaust system, and some reliability mods. Ive never actualy take mine to the trackm but I should be in the upper 12's to lower 13's.

I'd say Intake, Downpipe, Hi-flo cat, Exhaust, Intercooler, ECU, and 12 lbs.

1. Intake $300
2. Exhaust $550
3. Midpipe $350
4.Downpipe$300
5. Front Mount Intercooler $1000
6. Apexi Power FC $1300
7. Upgraded fuel pump $300
8. Tiewrap of vacume lines $450

So much for not spending your $4000.....LOL....
This will get you into the low to mid 12's easily on 12-13psi.

It shouldn't be hard to get in the 12's with just a few mods. If you look at what I have in my mods I am getting 12.9's and that is at 12 lbs. of boost with no upgraded intercooler. I am going to get a midpipe and that should secure a 12 sec. pass everytime down the strip. Oh yea a good set of drag radials and they will drop almost half a sec off your time.

A couple of passes later add a $400-500 clutch:).

True that!!

just a full exhaust, intake, and ecu should land you in the high 12s. of course reliability and clutch will factor in through the long run.
