modified y-pipe

i wanted to replace the stock plastic crossover pipe that kept poping out when boosting but did not want to buy the efini y-pipe so i modified mine and took it to a friend to get it tig welded just finished putting things back togheter and wanted to post pics and see what you guys think.

my greddy elbow should be delivered this week but i did buy enough aluminum to try and make one and yeah the stock crossover pipe is a POS.

Beautiful work. Lucky you to have a friend who does good aluminum welding for you. If you had to pay real labor and material costs for that (like I would), you'd probably opt for the efini y-pipe.

cewrx7r1- i dont have a strut bar but i think i might fit the highest point of the pipe is 1/4" higher than the vacum chamber next to it
