That really depends on what boost levels you are seeing.

If you are able to control boost and keep it near stock levels, testing has show that it's ok. If you are running into fuel cut, then it's not a good thing.

if you want to be sure put it on a dyno and get some AFR.

to be safe in the meantime keep it under 0.71

I ran my car with a downpipe, gutted cat, and stock catback, on 11psi. No break-up or detonation. But i dont have **** gas from cali, I ran 93 24/7, and sometimes added 102 low lead for safety. Overkill, but great power I was making until I lost a coolant seal.

i was thinking just and intake and exhaust. I see in your other post its a full 3" and an intake. How are you keeping your boost low? Either way your taking a big risk

I've got a question with a little more detail. I just spent my bonus and ordered the following parts. HKS titanium racing exhaust 4", Greddy elbow with both intercooler pipes, blitz sus filter kit, HKS dp, and an Apexi super afc. I think im going to go pick up a manual boost controller next week till i can afford to get a electronic. But for now, lets say my car boost to 12 or 13 psi, if i get it tuned on the dyno there arn't going to be any problems right?

I ran a full exhaust and an intake for about 3 months and hit fuel cut about a million times. My motor didn't blow but probobly took some miles off of it. My motor runs perfect now but that dosn't mean i didn't damage anything.
