Mileage on a tank of gas?

Just curious as to what kind of mileage everyone else is getting to a tank of gas. How many gallons does our tank hold?

I get about 210-220 miles to a tank, but I drive pretty aggressively.

The fd tank is rated at 20.1g I Believe - I have put over 19.8g in at a single fillin before so it is at leas that if you assume 18.5 useable and 16 mpg on the hwy that = 296mi range. w/ cruis control @ 75mph I get 18+ mpg so on a pure highway jaunt 18.5g x 18mpg = 333mi
I generally fill up at around 250-275mi

I typically put about 13 gallons in my car and in town that gets me 200 miles, on the highway it gets me 300 miles.

During a typical week of daily commuting I get around 320-350 and fill up around 17-18g, which works out to around 19-20mpg. I generally drive pretty gentle when I'm commuting (not like I have a lot of choice ) which helps mileage though. I've never used an entire tank on the freeway though, I'd imagine I can approach the actual EPA numbers (25mpg) if I drove a whole tank at 75mph but that is pretty much impossible driving around L.A. My record low was around 12mpg (~180miles, didn't want to let it get too low) when I spent almost an entire tank blasting up and down a mountain road giving joyrides . My car seems to get unusually good mileage, I don't know why but I don't complain about it. Even with traffic an city driving mixed into my commute I still approach 20mpg (shrugs).

On my long road trip, I once got 360 miles on a tank! And it took about 15 gallons to fill. Around town, I'm usually reading E at around 150 miles (about 15 gallons).

The most I ever got out of a full tank was 260 miles. Usually I am looking at about 200 since I mostly drive it in the city.

Wow, those are some pretty bad numbers. I get anywhere from 350-450 on a tank. I once got 500 miles on a tank when I drove the car from WI, all highway miles.
The low gas light comes on real early, so I go the distance when its on. Often driving 60+ miles with light on.
These cars get good gas mileage if you can keep off the boost for a little bit. I know its hard, but 200 miles per tank???
Maybe we should include mods here as well???

Well Mine is a STREETPORT w/AUTO so knock off at least 2mpg compared to a STOCK 5spd - I have heard that a well tuned PFC or other modern engine management system can add 2-3 mpg compared to the stock ems.

usually 300+ - I don't drive the car to work...
I have gotten 210, but that was all on one weekend of driving like an idiot...
and I am curious to see what sort of milage I will get driving to the MRR this weekend (assuming I dare to drive my car )

Damn

Yeah I'm with the glass man, under 300?? Ouch. I made a 200 some mile trip with 3/4 quarters of a tank on the guage and drove it around in regular driving conditions another 50-100 miles before filling up.

city: 175-220
hwy: 220-250

I'm rarely on the highway... Before my engine went, I was averaging about 12mpg city; My high this year was 14.7mpg! We'll see what it's like with a rebuilt engine.

Mods below, too.

lately, 250-275 per tank, usually filling up with at least 17-gallons -- avg about 14-mpg this really SUCKS (gas that is....) but i think it would be better if i drove her more -- right now i only drive her about twice a week, about 100-miles total.

my best was 450 miles on a tank, strictly highway driving and completely stock (when she was still relatively new). but that was a one-time deal. since that time, i've never been able to even approach that number. my next best was probably 375. when she was my daily driver (when she was still totally stock), i would get about 330-350 per tank, combined city/highway driving, and driving well into the E with the light on continuously (i used to drive it until the light came on & stayed on, then put another 20-miles on it before filling up

mods in sig....
