How much is this front spoiler/lip worth?
I am not trying to sell it (although I may if I end up getting the car). I am just trying to get an idea of how much it is worth. The problem is that the car is lowered and with this lip it will not be able to clear the curb on my driveway so if i end up buying this car this piece has to come off. It has a large chip in the paint on the left side from an animal. I don't think its damaged other than just the paint chipped off. The picture was taken before the damage happened.

Thank you,

That's the '99 spec lip that I have. RX7.com sells them new for $180. It looks better in it's original black, in my opinion.
Also, you might be able to keep it on if you use two wooden planks as ramps to get up the driveway. I knew a guy with a countach who did that....

Well I'm not going to repave the driveway, I don't like worrying about scraping and with the car lowered that would be a big problem. Thanks for the advice though. Would anyone want to buy it? I can take better pictures of it (and the damage) if I end up getting it.

Ditto that, djantlive! I had my stock R1 lip off this weekend while I was getting ready to put the 99 spec lip on and I couldn't believe how much it changed the looks of the car. I could never live without it....
When they're not painted, you'd be surprised how much you can get away with without doing any visible damage to it. They flex enough to take your average parking lot entrance abuse (so long as you don't pull too close to a curb!).

That Lip is the STOCK 99 lip and is not any lower than the R-1/2 style Lip - either is less than 1" lower than the Touring/Base "lip" if that lip is too low then you need to RAISE the front, adjust the springs or get TALLER tires
